That there is a paradigm shift in organizing and disseminating of information in our present day society. And SOCIAL MEDIA is the way out.
According to the chairman, staff should abreast with all the social media tools in carrying out their duties – reporting.
He also pointed out that audience do not relay on information from Newspapers, Radio station or TV station rather they (information users) relay on the credibility and timeliness of information from “social media platform”.
He further encourages members of their association to pass out information what so ever to public through social media if their various media houses went to remain relevant.
